BIO: Penelope Childers is an award-winning collaborative writer, writing stories that inspire, transform, and heal. Her author credits include SALT magazine, Inspire Christian Writers 2014 Anthology, Focus on the Family’s Club House Magazine, Guideposts, Chicken Soup for the Soul—Inspiration for Nurses, The Spirit of America, and Best Mom Ever. Penelope co-authored A Cry of the Heart: Human Trafficking, One Survivor’s True Story, and My Promise to Alex: Through Pain Comes Purpose. Penelope’s newest book, A Window of Hope, How We Survived COVID-19, was co-authored with her daughter, Megan. Penelope won the WCCW Goldie Award for her 2021 story, Surviving COVID-19.
